Animoca Brands Raises $20M to Advance its Metaverse Project Mocaverse

A A brands has raised $20 million to enhance its A MOA project from a group of other prominent web three investors. The goal is to provide web three native tools for users to build gaming and other entertainment products. Curious to get your thoughts on this Lawrence. What, what do you think ft market still? I was gonna ask you about what was happening. It just I, yeah, this is kind of I I mean if I didn't, yeah, I didn't expect any of this. I like I there are a lot of people in this, in this space still obviously and it's kind of it's taking a life of life of its own in many ways. So yeah, um 20 million is actually pretty impressive at this time. I think about like what's going on in the, in the rest of the crypto markets, kind of a lull if anything. Uh And so this is sort of saying, hey, you know what there the there's this kind of sub industry of NFTS that is sort of related, not related. Um And by the way, you hear the helicopters of course, as, as you know, I live right by the Hudson. So you're going to hear a lot of Jets given what's going on. Um, so this is, um, yeah, it's, it's in a way surprising, uh, in that at this moment, but on the other hand, it's sort of a signal that it's not exactly over yet for NFTS, I think it's a, a good little reminder. 20 million is a, a decent number given what's happening in the market. And there are a lot of big game studios and big entertainment companies that are still exploring how, how Web three might be able to um enhance the experience that comes with their IP. So it, it might not be the, yeah, it might not be the kind of silliness we saw in the NFT markets uh a couple of years ago. But uh maybe, maybe it'll be more sober, maybe, maybe we are evolving.
