New Senate Committee Plan Could Grant CFTC Primary Crypto Jurisdiction

The Senate’s agriculture committee, which oversees the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), introduced a bipartisan bill Wednesday that would grant the CFTC “exclusive jurisdiction” over cryptocurrency trades that meet commodities law.
