Chicago Seeking to Be Cryptocurrency Finance Center

Is Chicago America’s next cryptocurrency hub? From hosting one of the Midwest’s largest crypto mining facilities to a Chicago-based bitcoin ATM operator, Illinois is emerging as the next epicenter for the digital asset space. The Prairie State also plans to issue a bill similar to Wyoming’s special-purpose depository institution (SPDI) charters.
