Gary Clarke

Gary Clarke is the chief investment officer of Old Street Digital and has 28 years of experience managing funds and investment teams. Between 2016 and 2021, he was a venture investor and adviser, acting as investor/director leading three companies from seed to successful series A funding and beyond across SaaS and DTC, as well as a venture partner at Antler, a global company builder, accelerator, and VC. From 2014 to 2016, he was head of global equities at BlackRock, where he oversaw $31 billion in assets under management and managed an international investment team of over 30 portfolio managers and analysts. Between 2010 and 2013, he was gead of global thematic investing at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and between 2005 and 2010, he was head of European equities at Schroders, where he managed the largest portfolios and led a team of 15 portfolio managers and analysts. Prior to 2005, he was a fund manager at Gartmore, HSBC and Prudential (1994-2005).
